Stockton Boy Critically Injured In Hit And Run

STOCKTON (CBS13) ― An eight-year-old boy has been flown to the UC Davis Medical Center in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle in a hit and run incident this afternoon.

The incident happened in the 8700 Block of Kelley Dr. and Charleston Ct. in Stockton at around 2:30 p.m.

Witnesses were able to identify the make and model of the suspect's vehicle and partial license plate number, police say. From that description, police were led to a Stockton apartment complex where they arrested a male suspect.

Along with being charged with hit-and-run, the suspect is also accused of driving under the influence.
