His loved ones are calling it a hate crime. After he endured a vicious beating, a Sacramento man is clinging to life in the hospital.
Satendar Singh was beaten by a group of teenagers at Lake Natoma on Sunday, say Sacramento Police. Singh was punched in the face and his head smashed in the ground, possibly because of his ethnicity.
Singh came to this country from Fiji seven years ago.
His friends continue to wait outside Mercy San Juan where, they've been told, he probably won't make it.
Friends say that Singh lived everyday like it would be his last. But they never thought this could be the end.
