Sac City Council To Consider Air Quality Ordinance

SACRAMENTO (AP) ― Several Sacramento city council members will consider a proposed ordinance curtailing the use of fireplaces to improve air quality.

City staff members will present information to the city council subcommittee about how other regions regulate fireplace use, cost of such ordinances and this area's air-quality problems.

The committee will decide whether to draft a rule for consideration by the full city council.
