Person Of Interest Arrested In Galt Homicide Case

GALT, Calif. (CBS13) ― Police have arrested a person of interest in the shooting death of a Galt teen.



Gerardo Briseno, 19, was shot in the head at a Galt home Thursday.

Hector Quintero was detained by Galt Police in Lodi Thursday night in connection with the shooting – the first shooting in Galt in three years.  He has not been named as a suspect, but is being questioned by police.



Briseno was a known to be involved in gang activity.

The shooting may have been accidental, but the Galt Police say they are conducting a full investigation.
