Anna Walker made the surprise plea this morning in Stanislaus County court. She plead guilty to two felony counts of having sex with two minors. But, under the plea agreement, Walker will not face trial and will likely avoid prison. The D.A.'s office will recommend she receive 1-year in jail and probation. And because the victims were not under 14 years of age, Walker will not have to register herself as a sex offender.

"I feel it was appropriate considering the charges and again she did take early responsibility, entered a guilty plea to the charges," Stanislaus County Deputy District Attorney Nate Baker told CBS13 News, "And that will give our victims and victims' family their chance to say their piece at the sentencing."

Walker has been facing a several charges after being arrested in January on allegations she bought alcohol for a group of teens during a party at her home.

Walker came to the attention of authorities after allegedly serving alcohol to a group of teens and forcing 13 of them to leave in a single SUV before her husband, an Atwater police officer, came home from work.

The driver, 18, crashed the SUV, injuring all its passengers.

Family members of those teens involved were at the hearing today and were surprised by the plea.

"I definitely thought it was going to be a no guilty plea, but I'm very, very gratified that it was guilty," said "The quicker the better. It's needs to be closure for all these kids and their families.

Walker will be sentenced on May 31.
