New Tapes Of Mario Garcia Interview Released

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Under the lights, seen for the first time, Mario Garcia interrogated by detectives after leaving Thunder Valley Casino with Christie Wilson.
Before detectives enter the room, Garcia's caught on tape buttoning up his polo shirt, investigators now say they know that was to cover the scratches and bruises Christie left. At first, Garcia played dumb as if he didn't know who detective Bob McDonald was talking about.
Garcia: Is she white?
McDonald: One of the women you were playing with the one you ended walking out with.
Garcia: Yeah
McDonald: Her name is Christie.
Garcia only says they were both drunk and only remembers her borrowing money.
McDonald: How would you describe her?
Garcia: If she was coming on to me ...(inaudible)...I was drunk…Even if the opportunity presented to go home with her I wouldn't go home at 4.
Garcia answered most questions, until McDonald pressed him on what happened in the Thunder Valley parking lot.
McDonald: Now you guys walk out this door together. Walk me as much as you can remember to the point where she...
Garcia: Why is this important?
McDonald: Oh this is very important the most important part of what we're doing....Mario I got to tell you...
McDonald: This is the part...we will find something in the car I assure you if it's there. Tell me the truth.
McDonald: We're going to check the car to see if there are fingerprints inside or out, saliva, body fluid, skin, any particle to do with her on the inside of the car
Garcia: How long will you have my car?
McDonald: How long it takes I can't predict.
Silence from Garcia. McDonald told us that was the beginning of the trail in his mind. The detective gets up and walks back in.
McDonald: Can we take a picture of that mark under the eye?
That's when Garcia shook his head, got up and said that he wasn't saying anymore. Garcia was arrested the following Friday. In that interview after his arrest he refused to cooperate or answer any questions.
