Investigators: Car Had Been In River Awhile

CLARKSBURG (CBS13) ― Officials closed South River Rd. just south of Clarksburg this afternoon after a vehicle was spotted in the Sacramento River.

The vehicle was pulled from the river at the intersection of Netherlands Ave. and South River Rd.

Once it was out of the river, crews found a body inside.

The vehicle been in the water for a long time and the body was badly decomposed. The gender of the body is unknown at this time.
