Al Gore Urges Philly Group To Fight Climate Change
PHILADELPHIA (AP) ―
Al Gore urged a gathering of about 500 people in Philadelphia to become part of the solution in the global climate change fight.
The former vice president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate told the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia on Friday that the U.S. and the world have the tools to address the climate change crisis, "with the possible exception of political will."
His hour-long talk came during a seminar that also included remarks from Tom Ridge, former Homeland Security chief and Pennsylvania governor.
