WINTERS, Calif. (CBS13) ― A local family-run restaurant in Winters is Big Apple-bound.

Buckhorn is opening up a new restaurant in Manhattan and it's going to be at a very popular address: 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

The restaurant, which has been selling steaks for more the seven decades, will open a franchise in January under the name "Tri-Tip Grill.

The owner hopes this is just the beginning.

"[If] we can do it at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, then the other landlords in town are going to take us seriously. There will be something to look at," said John Pickerel, Buckhorn owner.

The restaurant will be at the food court in Rockefeller Plaza, which overlooks the ice skating rink.
