Hulk Hogan's Son Sentenced To 8 Months In Jail

Nick Bollea Prohibited From Driving For 3 Years

Celebrity Also Received 500 Hours Of Community Service

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) ― A Florida judge sentenced Hulk Hogan's son to eight months in jail, five years probation and 500 hours of community service for his part in a street racing accident that left his friend John Graziano critically injured.

Nick Bollea, 17, threw himself on the mercy of the court Friday afternoon when he agreed to drop his fight against a felony reckless driving charge.

Authorities say Bollea was racing a friend in August in his father's sports car when he hit a curb and slammed into a palm tree. The impact critically hurt his friend, John Graziano, who was not wearing a seat belt and now requires a lifetime of care.
