Amy Winehouse Has Gone Into Rehab

Pop Singer Enters Undisclosed Treatment Facility

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Amy Winehouse has gone into rehab.

A statement from her label, Universal Music Group, says Winehouse entered an undisclosed treatment facility today after talking with her label, management, family and doctors.

Universal says Winehouse entered the facility by mutual agreement and continues to receive the full support of all concerned.

Universal says Winehouse needs "specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards." Winehouse is nominated six times for her "Back to Black" album, featuring her hit single "Rehab."

The British tabloid The Sun released grainy footage this week of Winehouse inhaling fumes from a pipe.
