Rebecca, Jenny Voted Out In 'Survivor' Twist
NEW YORK (AP) ―
In an unexpected move, two members of the Raro tribe were voted out of the game.
After most of the tribe sent 34-year-old Rebecca Borman back to Laurelton, N.Y. they opened a message in a bottle received at the Immunity Challenge. It told them to vote out another tribe member immediately and that spelled the end for the real estate agent.
Jenny Guzon-Bae was stunned when she discovered she was being sent home to Lake Forest, Ill. after she got four votes and Jonathan got two.
"Jonathan did a great job of pulling his weight. I respect that, but in the end I feel completely burned, because I was blindsided. Had I known that there would be two voted out tonight, I would have done everything possible to make sure I would still be in this game," the 36-year-old said angrily.
Guzon-Bae received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism from Columbia College in Chicago. A writer from an early age, she switched to television to report for Chicago's only Filipino-American news program, "Philippine News Reports." She has since retired from reporting and now works as a real estate agent, but she continues to serve her community by emceeing various social events.
Borman, a make-up artist for the past 15 years, received her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Make-Up on a Daytime Talk Show for her work on "The View." She still works on the show where she does make-up for former Survivor Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
