TRACY, Calif. (CBS13/AP) ― A Sunday school teacher who lives in the mobile home complex where an 8-year-old Tracy girl went missing says her black suitcase was recently stolen.

Twenty-eight-year-old Melissa Huckaby tells the Tracy Press she left the suitcase in her driveway March 27, the day Sandra Cantu disappeared. When she went back for it, it was gone.

Sandra's remains were found Monday in a suitcase that had been thrown into an irrigation pond.

Huckaby says she's spoken to authorities but doesn't know if her missing suitcase matches the one that held the girl's body.

Police declined to comment on the story.

Huckaby is the granddaughter of Pastor Clifford Lawless, who has been questioned by police. Authorities have also searched Lawless' church although they say he is not at the center of their investigation.

Federal agents were at the church today, where they searched the roof of the building and also searched a nearby wooden shed. They went inside the church and brought out a large object, possibly a couch or a mattress.
