Police: Roseville Teacher Arrested For Sex Abuse
ROCKLIN (CBS13) ―
A Roseville middle school teacher has been arrested for what police say is continuous sexual abuse of a former student over several years.
Rocklin Police arrested 48-year-old James Hirleman late Wednesday night. Police say Hirleman is accused of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor form crimes that occurred in 2001 and 2006.
Police say the arrest was made after information about Hirleman came up in the arrest of another person by Rocklin Police.
Hirleman is a technology and math teacher at Buljan Middle School in Roseville. According to the school's website, Hirleman has worked at the school since 2000. The alleged victim was at some point a student of Hirleman's.
Hirleman is currently in the Placer County Jail where his being held on $100,000 bond.
