Friend Of Victim Arrested In Missing Person Case

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― There's a twist in the case of a man who disappeared several weeks ago then was found floating in the Sacramento River.

Police have arrested a friend of the victim and charged him with manslaughter. The suspect is 20-year-old Richard Froemke.  He's the last person to see 20-year-old Robert Rodriguez alive on the night of April 10th.

He initially told police they were walking around the I Street Bridge when Robert fell off. But Froemke waited four days before reporting his friend missing.

Froemke is being questioned by investigators.
