Ex-Judge Accused Of DUI For Second Time

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― A former Sutter County judge has been arrested and charged with driving drunk for the second time in less than two years.

Timothy Evans, a former judge on the Sutter County Superior Court, was allegedly traveling down State Route 20 Monday morning with a blood alcohol content (BAC) measurement of higher than .08.

Officers say they noticed Evans swerving from the lane into the dirt shoulder, and pulled him over. Evans reportedly failed field sobriety tests, and was taken to jail.

This isn't the first time he's been accused of DUI. In November of 2006, Evans was arrested on the same charges, and was on probation for that charge when he was arrested today.

We could not reach Evans for comment today.
