Frozen Food Heist Stopped Cold In Woodland
WOODLAND (CBS13) ―
An early morning break-in at Woodland High School was stopped cold when some would-be frozen food thieves tripped a burglary alarm.
Woodland police and Woodland school employees responded to an alarm at Woodland High School this morning just after 1:00am. When the first employee arrived, he saw two suspects make a run for it toward the school's football field. Police searched the area but come up empty handed.
Police say the suspects had forced their way into the school's kitchen freezer and were attempting to steal frozen food but were apparently interrupted when the alarm went off.
