Mario Garcia Trial Changes To Sacramento

AUBURN (CBS 13) ― A judge today granted a change of venue for the trial of Mario Garica.

According to Lt. George Malim of the Placer County Sheriff's department, the trial will now be held in Sacramento County. Lt. Malim said that the the judge will be from Placer county, but the jury will be from Sacramento County.

The trial begins April 24th.

Garcia is accused of murdering Christie Wilson. He was last seen with Christie Wilson at the Thunder Valley Casino the night she disappeared.
