Jury Selection Begins In Christie Wilson Case

SACRAMENTO (CBS 13) ― Jury selection gets underway this morning in the Christie Wilson murder trial.

Mario Garcia is charged with her murder. He was the last person seen with Wilson as the pair left the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln last October. Her body has never been found.

Legal experts say since this case has already seen a change of venue from Placer County to Sacramento County, the judge will be extra cautious in presiding over jury selection.

This will be the first time Placer County prosecutors will try to get a murder conviction without a body.
