11-Year-Old Drives 100 Miles Per Hour In Louisiana

Louisiana (CBS13) ― An 11-year-old boy in Louisiana is in trouble for allegedly driving a car 100 miles an hour.

Louisiana state police chased him for over eight miles, before the young driver stopped the car and ran into a Burger King calling for his mother.

Joseph Piglia, a Louisiana state police officer, says the trooper following the boy didn't realize he was a juvenile until he ran into the Burger King calling for his mom. Through an investigation, the trooper discovered the boy was allowed to drive the vehicle by his parents.

Police say the mother works at Burger King. The boy was allowed to use the car to drive his disabled father to various locations.
