Bank Robbery Leads To Chase And Lockdown

COLORADO SPRINGS, Florida (CBS13) ― A robbery in the parking lot of a south Florida Wachovia Bank Branch ended with a police chase and school in lockdown Thursday.

Two men are in custody and Coral Springs, Florida police are looking for a third.

A grandmother and her 3 month old grandson were in the parking lot of the Wachovia Bank in Coral Springs when a man came from behind the grandmother and pointed a gun at the child.

The man snatched the gramdmother's purse and took off with another man in a car.

An off- duty police sergeant followed them.

The car with the bad guys crashed near Maplewood Elementary. The school was put on lockdown.
