High-Speed Chase Ends With Crash Into Home

CLEVELAND, Ohio (CBS13) ― A wild police chase though the streets of Cleveland, Ohio Thursday ended with the suspect crashing into a home.

The suspect was accused of committing a sexual assault on a girl earlier in the week. After he reportedly went to the girl's school Thursday morning and threatened her, she called police with a description of the car.

Police eventually spotted the car and a chase followed, ending with the suspect losing control and crashing through the front of a home and then into the basement.

The suspect managed to get out of the car and was in the home for about an hour, before giving up and being taken away on a stretcher.

Neighbors said the home was vacant.
