Suspect Stops For Smokes During High Speed Chase

ARIZONA (CBS13) ― An unusual police chase took place in Arizona, as the suspect makes a pit-stop right in the middle of the pursuit.

The bank robbery suspect led police in a chase through Phoenix, weaving his way through neighborhoods.

In the middle of the chase, the suspect made a pit-stop at an AM-PM gas station and ran inside for a pack of cigarettes, and then took off again.

Police eventually stopped the man by using a spike strip that blew out his tires.
