Buy It And Try It: Big City Sliders
(CBS13)
When the Hessl kids play, they work up an appetite and want a snack.
And top of mom Jennifer's mind is something easy.
My Big City Slider Station promises to be fast and easy.
It's supposed to make 5-mini sliders in 2 to 4 minutes.
What does Jennifer think about making snacks for all the kids in just 2 minutes? "I think that would be great," said Jennifer.
Directions are easy enough. You scoop, press and cook.
We get everyone involved. Each of the kids scoops out the meat with the provided measuring scoop.
Then we take the top plate and press down. And cook with medium heat.
We'll set the clock for 2 minutes.
"I'll be curious to see if it really works," says Jennifer.
But after 2 minutes, our sliders aren't ready.
So we set the clock for another two... And then we start seeing activity.
Not much longer.
One of the sliders still appears a little red, so we cut into it.
"It actually looks cooked," says Jennifer.
So now the big taste test. What do they think? The kids all like them.
So in the end, the Big City Slider Station passes our test!
I paid $19.99 and bought it online.
