Buy It And Try It: FurVac
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Lesley Kirrene of the SPCA rescued three pets herself -- three long-haired pets, Reba, Austin and the fat cat, Sammy.
They leave pet hair everywhere in her house.
"It never stops, it doesn't matter what time of year it is," she said. "I'm constantly vacuuming."
Some hair is stubborn, even with the vacuum. I brought over the FurVac, which is supposed to clean up even stubborn pet hair in seconds.
"I think if it works, they definitely have a buyer here," Lesley said.
You attach it to your vacuum and turn it on. Within seconds, it does seem to be sucking up the hair, even the stubborn hair.
"I feel like it pulls up pretty well," Lesley said.
She's not a big fan of having to get on her knees to clean, which she doesn't have to do when using the normal vacuum, but you have to keep your thumb on the FurVac.
The device seperates from the vacuum cleaner a couple times, but it did the job on the carpet. She then tests it on her chair.
"It sucked it right up," Lesley said. Over on the stairs, "it seems to work just fine."
Now to the car, where Austin likes to leave a mess. This time, we let Lesley's daughter try it.
She says its very easy to use.
The FurVac passes all of our tests. "I'd say as long as you don't mind getting down on your knees, it works pretty well," Lesley said. "I think it passed muster."
I paid $11.99 and bought it from AsSeenOnTVGuys.com
