Mark S. Allen
E-mail Mark Mark's BlogMark S. Allen is the entertainment anchor for "Good Day Sacramento," and with one glance at his TV resume, you'll see that he's no ordinary broadcaster
though that might not be a good thing. He created and hosted "Dateless and Desperate" for the Emmy Award winning Nationally syndicated TV show "Scratch," and also hosted Comedy Central's Ace-Award winning variety show "Short Attention Span Theater." He made his first mark locally at KSFM 102.5, taking evening ratings to a historical high.
Many people still ask Mark about the stunts that he used to do. (He once lived on a billboard for a Month
even after falling off and breaking both his legs. How and why he fell off, he'll never tell.) Just behind, Marianne and Tina, he joined Good Day's cast in 1996.
Though he loves life in Sacramento, he commutes to LA and New York two times every Month, on assignment, where he interviews the biggest stars in entertainment! In 1999, Mark was inducted into the Nation's most respected film critic organization, B.F.C.A., and his movie reviews appear in newspapers coast to coast. He's also heard on over 175 radio stations nationwide, and continues to bring wild antics, and top name celebrities to "Good Day Sacramento" every day!
