Kris Pickel
E-mail Kris Kris Pickel joined the CBS13 News Team in July 2006. She and her husband Carl are the proud parents of two sons Clark and Bruce. Kris' husband is an avid comic book fan and convinced her to name the boys after two of his favorite super heroes. She figures that should earn her wife of the year.
Kris joined CBS13 after working in several television markets including a previous stop in Sacramento, Grand Junction, Reno and Tucson. Her jobs have including everything from editor and producer, to reporter and anchor.
You can see Kris anchoring the 4 p.m. weekday newscasts on CBS13, as well as reporting for CBS13 News at 10:00. Kris has won an Associated Press award along with an Edward R. Murrow award. She has also been nominated for several Emmys.
