Anny Hong
E-mail Anny Anny Hong joins CBS13 as an Anchor/Reporter from CBS 47 in Fresno. She's happy to make the move up north where it's cooler. She especially likes the Delta Breeze at night compared to the sizzling hot summers in Fresno.
Anny was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, home of the University of Oregon Ducks. While she did take courses at the U of O during her senior year of high school, Anny considers herself an Orangewoman after graduating from Syracuse University in Upstate New York. Anny's first job was during her senior year in college. She was a one-man band reporter in Watertown, New York. This is where she shot, wrote and edited her pieces. "It was a humbling experience," she says. Anny also worked in Syracuse as a reporter before making her way back home to Eugene, where she was an anchor, reporter and even did weather! In fact, Anny is working on her meteorology degree to become a meteorologist.
In her spare time, Anny enjoys reading books, shopping on eBay and cooking Korean food. She is also quite the bargain hunter, so if you know of a sale, drop her a note. She'd love to hear from you. She's also looking for story ideas, so if you think you've got one, send it her way!
