Elyce joined the CBS13 news team in October, 2007. The San Francisco native is thrilled to be back in Northern California. Right after graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, she worked in public relations for Arnold worldwide in London. A year later, she returned to her hometown to work at KRON. Elyce soon decided she wanted to be on the other side of the camera and moved to the other side of the country to pursue her masters degree in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University. While at school, she reported at Neighborhood Network News, a public access station in Boston and interned as a reporter at WDBJ, the CBS affiliate in Roanoke, Virginia. Her first reporting job out of grad school was at the NBC affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts. Most recently, Elyce worked as an anchor and a reporter at WLNE in Providence, Rhode Island for two and half years.
Elyce studied Communication and Business at Tulane University. She is a former athlete and had a successful career at Tulane, where she received a soccer scholarship. Her freshman year, she attended the University of Oregon on a soccer scholarship.
In her spare time, Elyce enjoys visiting with her family in the Bay Area and the Sacramento area.
