My Sister's House will celebrate it's 6th organizational anniversary this years Heroes of Hope Dinner. CBS13/CW31 Reporter/anchor Stefanie Cruz will be honored and CW31's Tina Macuha will emcee the event.

Other honorees include Sacramento Police Chief Al Najera, who is being honored for dedication, sensitivity and responsiveness to victims of domestic violence in Sacramento.

The organization provides culturally sensitive and appropriate resources, such as a 24-hour multilingual helpline and a Women to Work Program, which assists domestic violence survivors of all ethnicities to transition to work.
